I would have been about 12 - 14 when i met Toby and he lived in westfield at that point . We shared a mutual interest in collecting and eventually bottle digging and collecting old advertising pieces and Woking memorabilia. It was always good fun getting out as he provided the transport and i would find the sites getting out on the bike through the week after school. I remember us going all over and certainly made some fond memories. Its about 30 years ago now !!

Time moved on and i guess we lost touch until about 6 years ago and it was nice to eventually meet again at one of the collectors shows. Of course we have moved on a little in age and also lives and interests, but I loved seeing the weekly pictures on Facebook of his outings with his daughter and the amazing bike !!  truly inspiring to see them together having fun and enjoying life together, it inspired me to give up one day a week and spend it with my son, time as he said to me once is precious 

It was good to share a small part of the journey with him and hold very fond memories of digging crazy deep holes in the search of the next gem.
